1. The service

Kodbee Builder is a website-building platform. We provide the technology (hosting, software, maintenance); you decide what is published on your site.
By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.

Your name, email and mobile number must be true. Creating an account under a false identity is not allowed.
You are responsible for keeping your account and password safe. The account owner is also responsible for everything the team members do.

In Bangladesh an online news portal needs registration from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Getting and keeping that registration is entirely your responsibility.
If running a news portal without registration causes any legal problem, the responsibility is entirely the user's, not Kodbee's.
We may ask for proof of registration at any time. If you add your registration number in Site settings, it shows at the bottom of your site.

False news, rumours, or knowingly misleading information.
Incitement to violence or to communal or ethnic hatred; threats to the security or sovereignty of the state.
Defamation, harassment, or someone's personal information without permission.
Other people's writing, photos or videos without permission (copyright infringement).
Obscene material, or anything related to child abuse.
Fraud, phishing, harmful software, spam, or anything illegal under the law of Bangladesh.

You are responsible for all writing, images, adverts and comments published on your site. We do not review content before it is published.
If any claim or legal action is brought against Kodbee because of your content, you bear its cost and damages.

On a notice from a government body (such as BTRC or the Ministry of Information), a court or law enforcement, on a complaint with evidence, or when a breach of law is found, we may suspend or close a site or account without prior notice.
Money paid is not refunded in these cases.
On a lawful request we may be required to give the authorities account information (name, email, mobile number, payment records, activity logs).

Anyone can report a site running on Kodbee Builder — through the "Report" link at the bottom of every site. We look at every report.

Prices and features are shown on the plans page. You pay with bKash, Nagad or Rocket; your period starts once we confirm the payment.
Payments are not refunded; if you move to a smaller plan you keep the full plan until the end of the period you paid for.

We keep: name, email, mobile number, payment references, and activity logs for security. We do not sell them or give them to others for advertising.
Readers are counted without cookies.

We work to keep sites running and take regular backups, but we do not promise the service will never be interrupted.
Our liability for any loss is at most the amount you paid us in the previous three months.

If these terms change, the new date is shown on this page. Using the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the law of Bangladesh.
